I didn't think we would win - but thought we would keep it at 7-10 pts.

We played TERRIBLY - the coaches were outcoached tremendously, the D didn't execute and the O plays were TERRIBLE.

Even old man Lou said early in Q2 to go to the option for NIU, we did on the first drive of the 2nd half - it worked and then nothing creative on O.

I still say the only way we'll establish a program that is consistently successful is to bring back the 'bone or some other form of option. A lot of HS still run it, but few colleges do - so we should be able to get the cream of the crop in that regard. And with fewer and fewer colleges running it, it makes it that much more effective.

I'm sure this game on national TV, as well as the one next week, will do wonders for our recruiting. Then, after Navy runs all over us on national TV, I'm absolutely certain the recruits will be lined up outside the Yordon Center.
