Keep in mind Temple lost to Army last year 37-21. Their DL is dominating Army so far in this game. Give Golden some credit for turning this program around.

Temple has 21 returning starters. They should be decent this year.

We'll find out a lot more about Temple next week, when UConn visits Philly. We should find out a good bit more about UConn too...

Fact is, Army has had a run of underperforming head coaches that have put it in a recruiting bind with players that consider academies.

Is that really why they play so poorly? I've wondered about this for a while now.

Cheap shot at the president. Please, the academies don't recruit the players that most schools recruit these days. Army, Navy and Air Force recruit very intelligent young men. They each run triple option type offenses that give them some chance vs the superior athletes on the other side of the ball. These teams were dominate in the early half of last century, but its a different era. If your gonna blast Army's performance in football atleast give them both credit for winning in Iraq and Afganistan....Army kicking the **** out of Saddam Hussein State and Taliban Tech.......next up University of Iran or Russia A&M in the Georgia Dome.....Except for a triple overtime loss at Vietnam, Army unbeaten since 1776 on the real battle field.
