Cant be a prop...he had been practicing with the team until Tuesday, saw him myself. If you are a prop you cant have anything to do with the football team, you cant even workout with them.

That would another blow since Brown was a better than average QB prospect as true frosh. I doubt if he quit that we will give him a release to sign with another Div I team.

Yes, the QB. I know hw came in a bit overweight, as for his reason for leaving I dont know. I do know Schmitt, McMahon, Williams and Bierwalter were ahead of him.

No to mention another QB coming in. We now might see two QBs in the 2009 class.

I did see that Brockman is on the Purdue roster, #59

Brown ended up having clearinghouse isssues, he didn't quit.

Marcell Rose practiced the first week with the team and is now having similar issues. And is no longer practicing with the team.

So in those cases where there are clearinghouse issues the player is er for lack of better term "suspended" meaning still on the team but not able to practice until the clearinghouse clears this up. This is interesting but maybe someone can explain to me at the NCAA why when letters of intent were signed in February its now taken six months for these issues to surface?
