SYKORA BABY!
And has Fluery not been the equal of Osgood in this series?

FIFTY-FIVE SAVES! FIFTY-FIVE SAVES!

And what about Ryan Malone? Puck comes up and breaks his nose for the second time in less than two weeks later- and with cotton plugging his nostrils he's blocking shots late in regulation to make Talbot's series-turner with 30 seconds left- AND OH- DO WE NOT NEED A $25 WITH MAX TALBOT ON IT?- hold up!

Come on- let's shout!

Come on- Join In!

You've not seen nothing like the mighty 'Guins!

LET'S GO PENS! LET'S GO PENS!

Back to Pittsburgh for Game 6!

I'm remembering the Washington Capitals series in '92, baby!

RE: SYKORA BABY!
Sykora calling his shot! He said he'd score the game winner!

What about Gonchar? His shoulder all banged up in the end of the second quarter? His back going on in spasms- and he comes back like the hero he is to man the point on the power play and set up Sykora's goal!!!!!

And really, we have not talked enough about Talbot. Coming off the bench with the empty net and allowing the Pens to cycle the puck- perhaps for the first time in the period- and then finding the seam among the Red Wings checkers who have done such an amazing job of not allowing any of the Pens to set up in front of the crease.

There he is- to the side- OSGOOD IS LATE- AND THE PENS ARE SMILIN' LIKE A BUTCHER'S DOG!

CALL ARNOLD SLICK FROM TURTLE CREEK!

They are already putting that game up there with Maz's homer and The Immaculate Reception in Pittsburgh sports lore.

Me- that's a little high- the all-time Pens goal has to be Mario's game-winner in Game 1 of the 1992 Stanley Cup Finals- but yes, among the great ones- no question.

But the question here is- where does it rank among the events of the year?

Not as much as Tyree in the Super Bowl. I'll give you that.

But there hasn't been a basketball moment like Sykora's goal this year.

And there won't be. In fact, I don't think there has been a pro basketball moment since Havelchik stole the ball.

But the point here is- look at the Pens. Playing hurt.

Look at hockey. You had Sean Avery of the Rangers still going to the ice with a RUPTURED SPLEEN!

And now, look at basketball.

"OH! SWADER LIFTED HIS ELBOW! HE MIGHT HAVE GIVEN HIS OPPONENT A- A- A"

Well, I don't know. Even if the elbow had connected, would it have even left a bruise?

But that's basketball. In hockey, a guy is playing with things you'd go to the emergency room for- and in basketball they take a victory away from his team because HE LIFTED HIS ELBOW!!!!!

I like the Tiger Woods qoute when asked who he was rooting for. "I don't really care. Let's talk about the Dodgers, I don't think anybody really watches hockey anymore."

Saw that.

The second part of the quote shows how out of it he is.

Gotta go now. Game time!

Hey, if you'd rather listen to The Fat Boys than AC/DC, that's your business.

There is nothing new about selling the basketball to people like you.

It's a matter of selling the talentless to the tasteless.

Very predictable Ducker.

We expect more out of you.

But, then again, consider your employer.
