Just wanted to say congrats on winning your regional, and in impressive fashion I might add. It'll definitely be a challenge for the Razorbacks.

Come on over to the Arkansas board anytime to discuss the series with us. We didn't even think we were going to get an NCAA bid, but hey, we went 3-0 and took the Wichita region, so we'll see what we can do.

Should make for an interesting super-regional.

Sorry but the hogs are going down with the rest. SEC baseball is no matchup for the ACC.

The rotation for the HOGS will probably start with Isaccson on Friday, Hogan on Sat., and if possible, Woods on Sunday. Woods actually might get the nod on Saturday, as he's had the best year pitching-wise by far.

Also don't be surprised to see Scott Roehl starting or doing some significant pitching. Roehl is only 4-0 this year, but he's known to step up big in important games. Last year, as a freshman, in his second game, he no-hit Kansas State. He's known to flourish under pressure.

On paper, Clemson should win easily, but thankfully, games aren't played on paper. The Razorbacks are coming in with a 'nothing to lose, let's have fun' attitude; the pressure's definitely on your shoulders, so we'll see what happens. Will be fun nevertheless.

Oh, and btw...I won't go any further on conference comparison...but I think the fact that the 8th place SEC team sweeping a regional does at least say something about the depth of this conference.

You have to play the game like we do to get those kind of stats on paper. It should be a great matchup, but I agree with you, we should win the series. In baseball it's hard to predict wins during the tournament.

Because of business...

I have resided in Lexington, KY for the past 14
years. I'm telling, y'all...The UK Cats are a
joke in baseball...A joke! They only won 5
sec games but 2 were against Arkansas at Arkansas.

Still...as the 'Hog says...Anything can happen on
the field.

The team, I would be concerned with, as far as
ACC...opposition is Florida Atlantic. Those
people can play.

One more thing, there is absolutely no comparison for the SEC when it comes to ACC baseball. Sorry, but check the stats on that one - we will go there this year.

WPS</font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Nah...Yer correct. Let's not go there.

Then we would have to talk about Florida losing
two out of three to a Miami team, that is barely
above .500! That Miami team, also went 3-9 against ACC teams this year. And they won it in
Gainesville.

Then we'd have to talk about Florida Atlantic
sending home the Tide and Auburn.

And we shouldn't forget about the 'Dawgs that were
swept by the Jackets.

However...You are Correct...The SEC did place
7 teams in the tournament. 'Course had half of
our OOC games been against Troy State, we might have had the entire league qualify. lol
