Quote:Looking at the bowls one would have to conclude that the ACC was certainly a much stronger conference than the SEC. But at least our conference champion deserved to be in a BCS bowl.

Not a much stronger conference Lucky, but stronger in bowls. I'll pit SEC teams vs ACC teams head to head any day of the week. And you are right on the money with your last sentence about SEC's conf champ deserving to be in a BCS bowl!

UGI...good to see you back on the board. The board administrators must have paid you a lot of money to come back and breath life back into this miserable BBS. Did you notice that during your absence, no one cared about any of the posts?

As the little lady said in Poltergeist: "ALL ARE WELCOME IN THE LIGHT!"

So come on posters from Ole Miss, Ga Tech, Maryland, Arkansas, even Rutgers......what's on your mind regarding college football? Don't be afraid to post your thoughts....MsNole is on a very short lease these days!

I was wrong, Damascus, and you were right. I didn't notice that Ole Miss beat Nebraska....so the SEC was, as you posted, 3 and 4 for the bowl season. Still, the ACC made a much better showing in the bowls. They way Maryland handled Tennesse and even the way NC State played against Notre Dame along with Wake's surprising season commands respect for the conference.

However, please take note that Georgia Tech is STILL unable to beat a team with the initials FSU or with the name "Bulldogs"!

And when the same usual suspects here don't agree with him, they tell him to leave or they call him names and insult him.

Hey Peanut...Keep on posting dude.
Actually, Peanut is the resident idiot over on our boards. He does a great job of trying to make us all look bad, so actually, we'll tell him whatever we damn well feel like telling him.

well...my mistake, then...
Hmmmmm, let's see now... Ole Miss beat Nebraska so that's one; Auburn beat Penn State, so that's two and Georgia beat FSU so that makes three.

Well, golly... DT2 is RIGHT and you're wrong luckydawg...
  Guess they teach math is better at Maryland :D

Msnole, you would actually have to take people off ignore to read the entire post. Luckydawg already corrected himself. Surely he doesn't need you to do that.

Regular Seasom...

UVA 34 So Carolina 21
Clemson 27 So Carolina 24
Ga Tech 45 Vandy 3
Florida State 31 Florida 14

Bowls

UMD 30 Tennessee 3

Regular Season

UGI 31 Clemson 28
UGI 51 Tech 7

Bowls

UGI 26 Florida St 13

I believe that UGA was the ONLY SEC school to beat
an ACC team. Looks like the final results were

ACC 5 Wins (5 Different teams with wins)

SEC 3 Wins (Only Georgia was a winner)

These are just some little 'ol facts...Waiting with anticipation,
for the laughable comebacks

That was already listed...

The thread was about who has the tougher conference.

ACC has won more games.

UT is lucky to have made the Peach Bowl this year. My ex-girlfriend is a grad student there, so I kinda followed them a little bit this season. They were lucky to have won 8 games.

Yeah, I was just funning with UGI, like he likes to do with the Nole fans.

Remember in pre-season how the experts were predicting Tennessee was gonna have an awesome year? I didn't think so and said so on the other board we were on Wiz... boy, did the SEC and others jump on me. Well... guess who was right :D

3 Weeks tomorrow Seminole Baseball starts... 04-cheers

Yeah, I was hoping for an Ole Miss/Tennessee SEC Championship game...but then again, I was dating a Vol at the time. Oh well.

Baseball! Baseball! Baseball! Baseball!

Actually, I was ready for hoops until we dropped one to South Carolina last night. I'm kinda scared now.
