...that BJ Elder deserves to be on an All-ACC team, or does it take him scoring in double-digits and being an incredible defensive stopper against all 8 other teams in the ACC (he's done it against all 6 we've played so far)? It's about time he got some props around the league...he's quickly building a reputation for himself.

:stupid: Some people would still rather choose folks like Todd Billet and Tim Pickett.

I think it's going to take winning the ACC tournament for Tech to get any respect.

Oh, don't get me wrong, he's got mad game. I think he's definitely one of the best players in the ACC. BUT, Tech will need to finish top 4 in the ACC for him to get 2nd or 3rd team ACC. I know he's awesome, but the reality of it is that if you want multiple players on the all ACC teams, you have to have a great record. And it's either Bosh or Elder, and I'm thinking Bosh.

If Bosh & Elder continue playing the way they have over the past few games, Elder will be the more deserving member of the All-ACC team. Elder's play is more consistent, and besides, Bosh is only a freshman. I think he will definitely have a position on the All-Freshman team, but IMO Elder is the better player this season...and since nate will not be on the official voting panel, I believe Elder will be All-ACC come season-end.

It would be hard to believe if Bosh did not win the ROY the way he is playing now.

1st team battle
G- Duhon/Blake/Elder (depends on the second half, of the season... i'd say Duhon right now, just because he's been hyped up so much up to this point.)
G- Nicholas/Mccants/Redick(These two have game, but nicholas has been proving himself since he stepped up to the plate)
F- Bosh
F- Howard*
C- Watson*
*-Locks, barring a major screwup.
I'm not excluding jones, but i'm not sure whether he'd be a SG or SF
I am certain that UVA and WFU will have a 1st teamer, and i'm pretty sure about duke and MD too.

An all-acc team without a Dukie? Neverrrrrr! At least not as long as K is there. BJ will have a tough time making the 1st team b/c there are tons of great guards like Scott, McCants, Nicholas, Blake, Duhon...
Bosh should be a lock though.
