Because of the post purging you only saw about a year's worth of post totals. For the life of BI there were over a million posts easily. Remember we had a few long stretches with over 400 posts per day when the site was in its prime.

If you wanted to get the count up. Get Chipdip on a roll about Politics or the cmu. Next thing you know there were pages of insults and ridicule flung around. LOL
