Nice huh? Talk about being between a rock and a hard place. I'm happy to be in the Sun Belt, and I really like Wright Waters, but this designated conference game stuff has gotta stop. No more after this year please....
GO TROJANS!
I don;t think we will see any more of this crap after this season, hopefully

I can't see that happening with 8 teams in the conference. We should have enough conference games with 8 of them.

Yeah, but you guys can beat Marshall, Mizzou and South Carolina...Of course S.Carolina will be harder than the other two, but IMO, Troy St. can beat any of these three teams.

Hopefully this will be the last year that FIU plays so many 1-AA schools? I am counting 7 on the schedule, granted they are tough 1-AA but still.

Yeah I think it should be the last year we play so many I-AA. I think it's mostly completing the existing contracts that we had. I know for a fact we already have games with Kansas State and Texas Tech next season.
Also, yeah 6 home games is great and 1 away game that's very easy to get too, should be a fun season.

This is FAU & FIU's 1-A transitional year so they both will have more 1-AA schools on the schedule this year compared to next year (should and hopefully will play a full SBC schedule).

They would have to fullfill the contract with those schools or else buy them out, which unless your a school with a lot of money you don't want to do. They'll have a full SBC schedule the following year.
