Navy WIN
NIU Possibility
Bowling Green: Trust me, Omar Jacobs not leading the offense will make for a totally different BGSU football team. For that reason, I think TEMPLE could squeeze out a win!
Don't know much about NIU's Football team to judge?
Other than that, I think your prediction is on point!!!

NIU has a very solid team this year. Last year we went to the MACC game, and have a lot of key players coming back. Namely Garrett Wolfe, Idk much about Temple, but if you can't stop the run then there is almost no chance of beating NIU. Wolfe is the leading returning rusher in the nation, however he will have 3 new OL starters...we have good recruits though so that probably will not be as much of an issue as it sounds. Our passing game should be very servicable with 2 quality QBs in Phil Horvath and Dan Nicholson, and our recieving corps is young, but very talented. There's lots of speed in the young guys there.
Our defense is not as strong. The D-Line is not the biggest, but they are very fast. Our LBs are young and very talented, they got a lot of playing time last year and now have a grasp of the game. The secondary is what killed us in the MACC game, but we should be servicable there.
So we should be a very solid team this year....also don't sleep on Western Michigan too. They are an up and coming team in the MAC and playing them in Kalamazoo will not be an easy task.
I hope the info helps you.

Well NIU lost to Northwestern (7-4 Big Ten bowl team) by 1 pt on the road and played a respectable although dissapointing game at Michigan losing 33-17.

winning at WMU a tall order.
beating CMU after knowing Chips took BC to the wire is doubtful.

It looks very doom and gloom here on North Broad st. Again until they get their own stadium and get on par compared to other schools their size I'm afaraid to say as of now it looks like the gloom will continue. Many things need upgrading,I feel Temple is behind in many aspects in the atletic dept.
ex. Every schhol in america has golf bags available on the web, guess which one does not, yep Temple. Go ahead try it, google. Every golf place = nothing. Sure its a small thing but when someone wants one and every other school is available but yoursis not, its annoying.
Right now Temple Pride and school spirit are hurting ...
