In other news, CMU Coach DeBord was quoted as saying that "if Marshall, UCF, Toledo, Miami, Northern Illinois, WMU, Bowling Green, Ball State, Ohio, and maybe Akron leave and fill slots elsewhere, we may have a chance to dominate."

From somewhere near the Horse Nebula, the answers to all of your frickin questions and comments are answered.
Being the psychic I am, Marshall and Central Florida will be in the MAC for the foreseeable future.
You are all going to choke on the HORSEMEAT! :alien:

Darnell only mentioned Central Florida since the media makes it sound like they're the logical Florida candidate for the Big East. Otherwise, he probably would have said Toledo. It's not like UCF dominated us last year anyhow -- we probably would have won the game had we had a decent quarterback. Anyhow, UCF still needs to prove they can win a MAC title.
Secondly, if Darnell was so worried about playing Marshall or UCF, he certainly wouldn't have the OOC schedule we have year in and out. Marshall's OOC schedule has been for the most part week since they joined the MAC. It has only been in the last couple years they have even scheduled anyone notable.
I agree with Papa Lou. All Darnell was saying is that there are a few more talented teams in this conference that will replace Marshall as the front runner -- without having to cheat and buy home field advantage in order to win.

How is that different from WMU? As the saying goes, "What have you done for me lately?"

I hope UCF DOES leave the MAC. No offense...I think the MAC has some tough teams...but dangit....you're school's are SOOOOOOOO far!! I love to travel to games and it's hard to afford to travel to your schools!!
I'm moving to Atlanta and it's still a long ways away to the nearest school!!
