Unfortunately, it's your half-talent team that has been late hitting since Owens got to the helm of your program. The only payback being dealt here is Akron players trying to pay back Miami player out of the frustration that comes from playing a rival that won't acknowledge being a rival, and rarely winning against them.
Quote:Who stats are better? Nuff said. Who is leading an offense who is NUMBER 1 IN THE NATION IN TOTAL OFFENSE?
That would be <a href='http://web1.ncaa.org/d1mfb/Internet/national%20rankings/IA_teamtotoff.html' target='_blank'>B.J. Symons. Texas Tech.</a> Akron, despite fattening up on I-AA Howard, Eastern, and Buffalo (which amounts to the <a href='http://www.usatoday.com/sports/sagarin/fbc03.htm' target='_blank'>136th-ranked schedule according to Sagarin</a>) is only fourth. Miami, challenged by the 36th-ranked schedule is only three positions behind them.
Remember those numbers for a moment: Akron Schedule: 136. Miami Schedule: 36.
Now, consider that Frye, facing a schedule that is ranked 100 points behind the schedule that Ben has faced, is only 1 position, and .1 point, ahead of Ben in <a href='http://web1.ncaa.org/d1mfb/Internet/national%20rankings/IA_playerpasseff.html' target='_blank'>Passing Efficiency</a>. According to the NCAA, Mr. Frye is now behind Ben in <a href='http://web1.ncaa.org/d1mfb/Internet/national%20rankings/IA_playerpass.html' target='_blank'>passing</a> and <a href='http://web1.ncaa.org/d1mfb/Internet/national%20rankings/IA_playertotoff.html' target='_blank'>total offense</a>.
And Ben did it against real defenses, not those Krispy Kremes that Captain Kangaroo has faced to date. The proof was in the head-to-head results this weekend. Shall we review?

Unfortunately, the stats currently don't support your position.
