Well the season starts soon they play their exhibition game Nov 13th 7pm against Slippery Rock (Oh! My!) who were ranked 840th last year. Boone must have gotten tried of losing to GT Express. :withstupid:

It will be another long year for EMU mens basketball. Slippery Rock was able to hold their own in the second half against Boone. Why this man does not make ajustment in the second half I'll never know. Unless they have big leads in the first half Boone's boys will lose most of the second. Beating a very bad Slippery Rock by only 24 is a disgrace! :mad:

:chair: Superfan, no no.....playing teams like Slippery Rock, Rochester, and Canisius is a total disgrace to the EMU program. Time for Boone to have the door hit his fanny on the way out. The sad news is that for the talent we have for the men's bball team, they will be forced to 'lower' their standards to play Division I-AA, Division II, NAIA, and the basement dwelling Division I-A opponents. That's just plain stupid and embarrassing to the fans who has supported the EMU men's basketball program since the hey-day years with Earl Boykins, Grant Long, and more.
