Was it?? What channel? ESPN/2? If so, I forgot. Thank you - I stand corrected.

HuskieDan - you said after the BSU debacle that it was good the coaches had something [the sick D] to work on. As I said then, it was NOT a good thing.
I think that's flat ignorant. The OL, the best in the MAC, got owned after the first quarter. The D couldn't get a stop - they didn't allow any big plays, but they couldn't get a stop. Their OLine dominated us, no doubt about it.
But come on, NOvak is a bad game day coach? Was he coaching when we beat Maryland, Alabama, Iowa St, Wake, BG, Miami? I suppose that day it was all the players, right?
BTW - it's only a good thing when you win, obviously. And I didn't see a team with the same fire of most of the rest of the year. The ran it well in the first quarter, then got owned.
What part is ignorant??
Joe is the one who said those Bama, MD, and ISU wins don't mean a thing. And the BGSU win this year was big to some degree, but it was earlier in the season, and not on national TV like this game. Has Joe ever won a game when we were on ESPN??? And we don't only lose, we look sick doing to. 19! NINETEEN!!!!!!!! 19! yards of offense in the 2nd half. Terrible play calling, motivation, etc.
Wake and ISU were not big wins over good teams, they were just wins over BCS teams. Good for the program, but I would not call those "BIG" games.
He said after the BSU squeaker that it is hard to get kids up for every game. How did he NOT have the team up for this team?
My point was that if it is the coaches' fault that the team didn't win this game, is it to their credit that we beat those teams that garnered us the respect to be ranked despite only one win over a winning team? The reality of the situation is that while those wins didn't help us attain our goal, they were certainly big games, and very important games. And if you asked him, he'd tell you so. But yes, the goal is to win the MAC.
I don't know why the team was not up for this game, but I have to believe that the stupidity of our leading rusher - the nation's leading scorer - may have had something to do with that. It certainly couldn't help, when the team counts on one another and a couple members, especially a very key cog, don't fulfill their end of the bargain.

This year's BG game was on national TV on a Friday night.
