NIU and Troy are two great up and comming teams. Naturally NIU has in the last few years done more than Troy, with some quality BCS wins. I respect the way Troy has played this year and like any other NIU fan , hope for a great game which will be widely watched Nationally, which will lead to more recognition for two worthy football programs that both deserve more respect. Very rarely does a MAC team play a Sunbelt team. Congratulations for Troy beating Marshall and Missouri. In faceing NIU(8-3) you will be faceing a much more solid and consistant opponant than Marshall(6-6). You will be faceing the best Rush offense in the MAC and one of the most respected rush offences in Division 1A. You will also be faceing an enthusiastic and brilliant QB who is looking to make a statement. This is a healthy team hungry for more National recognition. We intend to take care of Business Thursday night and hopefully bring glory to NIU and the MAC. Give us a great game Troy, you record this year makes your Bowl worthy.

We just give back what we get, and when you post smack on this board (like any board), ya gotta expect it back. In reality, I have nothing but respect and admiration for Southerners. The experience we had playing at Alabama last year was second to none. Alabama fans (and residents) re-define class. Southern hospitality is not a myth, it's a reality.

Here's hoping for a great game! 04-bow
Yeah, man. I'm not taking it seriously, I was just having a little fun also. Truth be known, I went to Troy, but I was born and raised in Chicago--my parents got transferred to Florida when I was in high school. There's an ongoing argument between my friends as to whether I'm a Yankee, or if I am a converted southerner. I know one thing--I've picked up the accent a little bit.

Good luck on Thursday!!!!
