The old rockers had there share of trash but they didn't kill each other and travel with a posse of gangsters.

lmfao

Did you sleep through the '70's and '80's or are you 12?

like i said - just another example of someone who knows nothing about rap thinking that they know what they're talking about

LOL son I've raised two sons--I'm familiar with the trash called rap and their trash culture ruining a generation of urban youth.

If you are still listening to when you are 30 I'll be surprised

Well not really considering your posting history.

The largest purchasing group of rap CDs is white kids in the suburbs, and they generally don't listen to the stuff that Maize and I listen to.

Your comments are based on ignorance, but that's not surprising anymore.

Ignorance? LOL nice try

Must be generational skipping because both my kids are on full rides to two very prestigious schools

I think I'm smart enough or least have lucky sperm.

I think we'll shake hands and agree to disagree about Rap. Hopefully your kids will grow up fine.

Last week they had this topic on 840 WHAS which is a 50,000 Watt radio station. A woman called in and said the following:

When I was growing up in the 80s she did not listen to rap, it is so degrading blah, blah, blah. She listen to Aerosmith.

Now when she mentioned them, I guess she forgot Aerosmith did a record with a Rap Group. That Rap group was Run/DMC and together they made music history with the remake of the Aerosmith Classic Walk This Way.

That song introduced Rap/Hip Hop to the White Suburban Kids and they loved it and have been listening to Hip Hop along with Heavy Metal ever since.
