But on the Feb 12 seedings released by the committee, Cincy 8th and Wichita did not make the Top 16.

So the "human judges" are dinging us again compared to the computers, just like what the football committee did to UCF.

As of now Cincinnati has compiled an impressive list of solid wins but they desperately need a marquee win (top 10 team) to earn some respect by the committee. Unfortunately there are not really any remaining on the schedule. To put it in perspective, Buffalo on a neutral court is our best win right now according to the RPI.

Sweeping @Houston, @WSU, and WSU would position the Bearcats well for a #1 seed but even losing one of those knock them out of the #1 seed conversation without that statement win.

If Cincinnati had won @Xavier and lost to Houston for example, I think the Bearcats would be in the #1 seed line right now.
