And probably most O-linemen have given up a sack at one time or another. It's just bad luck if the QB gets injured or doesn't get injured. You can't leave the guy on the bench because of that, if he's otherwise better than the other players.

Offensive lineman give up sacks. It is true, but rb that continues to read the hot blitz incorrectly is judged differently

Head coach doesn't trust him because he is a playmaker, and to Carey that is too risky because turnovers can result. You have to remember, we have a head coach that is satisfied with 3 and outs and long as no turnovers occur. Huff doesn't fit into that mold.

He has said it many times, i believe one pre season quote was something to the effect of "staying healthy and how good your quarterback play is determines a lot of your success"

He values the position more than any other position, every head coach does

valuing the position isnt the issue

evaluating the position is an issue, and for that he is guilty of playing the wrong guy for 2 seasons in a row
