http://www.sunherald.com/sports/spt-colu...14679.html

The cheapest single-game ticket you can purchase on StubHub for the Feb. 16 opener at Pete Taylor Park is currently $105. That price jumps to $156 on Saturday and sits at $130 for the series finale on Sunday.

The most expensive tickets for the Feb. 16 game are two for $250 each in Section H box seating. Those two seats provide a nice view just to the left of home plate.

On Saturday, those same two seats are worth $299 a pop. They drop back to $250 on Sunday.

On VividSeats.com, ticket prices range from $97-$231 for the season opener in Hattiesburg.

If you want to wait and buy your single-game tickets for the MSU-USM series after they become available on Feb. 1, chairback, box and bleacher seating will all cost $20. General admission will be $15.

You just have to hope tickets will still be available at Pete Taylor Park, which has a capacity of 4,300.

Single game tickets went on sale this morning for the USM season opening series vs Mississippi St and they sold out in 15 minutes. Makes me wonder if they put a cap on the number of tickets similar to how they did the regional or will we sell overflow tickets. Regional crowds maxed out just under 5k but for other games we've had closer to 5500 with standing room tickets sold (those stats are going off memory alone and not double checking so they may be off a few hundred)

As expected season ticket sales have eclipsed a record number with over 1500 already being sold. Season tickets are still being sold even though the opening weekend is now sold out. When i got my 4 last week it was with the stipulation that the Saturday game vs Miss St would be standing room only as all chairback and bleachers were already sold out. Not let's just hope we don't screw it up like last year's regional finals against them.

I like when the Cajuns play you guys are on our yearly home/home weekend series instead of the two mid-week games in Hattiesburg this year. I think its a good travel trip for either team's fans.
