A wholesale realignment of the Southland, WAC, Big Sky, and Summit needs to occur. FCS needs only six, so more FCS autobids are possible later, while retaining their dance bids. It's in every school's best interest.


I could see a split between the Louisiana schools with Arkansas from the Texas schools. Many D2 Lone Star Texas schools want to move up. Cameron and Central Oklahoma should move up to. Angelo State and West Texas A&M could go to the WAC.

The Louisiana with Central Arkansas schools could add Delta State. Southern Arkansas, Arkansas Tech, UAFS, Missouri Southern and Missouri S&T.
