Yes it does. It was a founding member of the Gateway Football Conference in 1985, and has never left. It isn't going anywhere in football.

And I'd also throw out EKU as a big program in the OVC, at least historically. Perhaps not as much success lately.

what do u think there long range plans are?

My personal opinion on what would be best for the Summit would be this:

NDSU, UND, SDSU, USD, Omaha, Denver, UMKC, Minn-Duluth

And would like to see the four men's hockey programs join the Big Ten hockey conference. The Dakota 4 remain football affiliate members of the MVFC (Duluth drops football to move up).
