ECU doesn't have a true conference rival IMHO. We were mostly all left behind's / Eastern independent or "newish FBS programs" (USF/UCF).

I agree with you on App State. I honestly believe ECU and App should play every season. We've played App State more times than anybody other current FBS team.

App - 41 games (12-19 App, mostly at FCS level)
USM - 39 games (12-27 USM, they're just REALLY had our number for some reason)
NCSU - 29 games (13-16 NCSU)

^^^ These 3 games need to be on a every other or 3rd year rotation probably. Everybody else is a warm body IMHO. I've never felt a real "rivalry" with UCF, it only exists online. I don't know a single UCF grad.
