RE: MVC to hold emergency meeting on Sunday in Saint Louis (Rothstein)
My read:

1. Valpo is likely a yes if asked, but may think about it
2. Murray is dicey, also has the football issue
3. Belmont is even dicier, seems to have already indicated the answer is no.

The MVC will take as many as they can get from this list, although the process of invites is likely to be too late for 2017-18, and instead we are looking at 2018-19. They will probably be 9 this coming year even if they add somebody -- I think we are too late in the year to have anyone jump in time for next year, they will have a lame duck season. The MVC will probably not go beyond this list. The RPI numbers show why. Only Belmont and Valpo would help.

Average RPI last five years
Belmont = 68
Valparaiso = 84
Murray State = 144

North Dakota State = 91 (No indication of interest either way from MVC or the Dakotas)
South Dakota State =97 (No indication of interest either way from MVC or the Dakotas)
Oakland = 126
Denver = 169
Omaha = 225
Kansas City = 261
IUPUI = 263
