Squeezed by is one way of putting it. It was not even a game at halftime. SMU was up by 22. They were coasting in second half and it almost bit them. Heck with 7 minutes left it was still an 18 point game before ECU went on a very quick 24-7 run over the next 4 minutes. Then the final 3 minutes stayed relatively close. ECU led the game 5 minutes into the game and never even tied it up after that until just under 1 minute left in the game. What I am saying is the game really was not that close. SMU will be a tough out.

Any 5, 6, or 7 seed will be a "tough out". That's why they have a higher seed. They're good an they earned it. I appreciate the facts on the game not being that close throughout, but that "tough out" statement is basic.
