On the surface, yes. It's about naming a stadium.

But at it's core, the issue is about UC standing by their word...

UC chose to take money from a longtime donor family (Nipperts) with the stipulation about maintaining the current stadium name (after Jimmy Nippert).

…Will UC stand by their word or are they willing to sell out a longtime donor's wishes for the next pot of silver to come along?

Is UC's word their bond?

If you say getting more money matters more than UC keeping their word...
that is a sad commentary on today's morals and values.
