Yea, but here's the rub with that.

You really want to be the school that took a payday game from a moveup independent? Its would be kind of like a "georgia state cash drop" moment.

Another problem is that SBC/Mac/indys need home games too. Most only will sell one game a year. And many teams schedule those games first.

I do agree with you on one thing. LU's schedule will likely be very easy. But even if LU manages to get to 7-5 playing a schedule like UTSA's first one in FBS https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2012_UTSA_...tball_team which has to be the weakest FBS schedule ever, they'll not get much credit even if they go 8-4.
