Insomuch that schools tap into home and charter school students, where football isn't offered, perhaps. I think this hits private Christian schools, like Maranatha, than others, because their enrollment profiles are impacted the most with the increase in charter school options there.
But, the Catholic and public schools will still feed their respective institutions. What will hurt those colleges will be the over-saturation of similar institutions in areas with the enrollment challenges stressing most schools out there today.
They just added the sport a few years ago. At least they played for a few years. Lon Morris in Texas added football, and the next year, the school shut down. Paine restarted their football, played for a season and dropped the sport.
