The reason for that? It's simple: ADDING A TRAVEL PARTNER IS NOT FOR YOU! It's for the rest of the conference. Seriously... What is it with App State folks (not all, but most) that they can't comprehend that? I mean, it is like a mental block with you people, like Georgia Southern and the forward pass (I had to add that one in there).

You do understand that though the contract for their admission was before App & GaSo joined... Both of you voted on the renewal (or in this case, non-renewal)... right? So yeah... you do have something to do with them leaving.

Finally, if the mileage is of such a concern for you, and your budget can't accommodate such an onerous cost (which would most likely be WAY less than 300k/year), then perhaps you should reconsider this whole "FBS" thing. Because that kind of cost is NOMINAL to most schools.
