That's just incorrect (missouri state) and misleading (NMSU).

Missouri State has value because they have decent to good basketball, and they are a preferred ask of stAte. Much like how App fans (not all fans) cried for a travel partner, a case can be made to bring Missouri State in to a) improve basketball, and b) ensure stAte is happy.

With NMSU, the only reason they were kicked is because of the crying from the east. Bringing them back football only would be foolish, but bringing them in all sports would improve the basketball portion of our league and add in a 12th football member (assuming that's where we were headed). Both of which would improve the conference. The East could be happy because they'd get divisions and finally become the bus league they want, with only 1 or 2 "fly" games, and the west would get the western team it wants.
