nope, but it's not like our academic side is ignored. We just don't mention our academic facilities on this site.

Here are some of the non-athletic construction projects on our downtown campus. Fair to say that our academic facilities receive equal share of the money to our athletic side.
Greenway Plaza (front of the main library)
Academics and Athletics have never been close to equal in funding and are not close now. We have state of the art oooh and aaaah buildingr for Academics. Baseball and Soccer play 10 miles away in high school level facilities. Ones of the best MBB teams in the country plays in a rec center. As an illustration of how poorly funded Athletics is, the rec center portion moved out into a brand new multi million dollar rec center in the early 2000s and left Athletics behind. It's just now that we are minimally addressing athletics facilities largely due to embarrassment and even slow we are going way slow about it.

See, based on the bolded above, here is why we laugh at a lot of what you guys say......

This is a snipit of the current MBB NET Rankings from the NCAA Website. They don't have you listed in the AP or Coaches polls because they don't rank that low on their page.

128 127 Western Ky. C-USA 14-10 4-7 2-1 8-2 0-0
129 130 Harvard Ivy League 10-7 3-6 1-0 5-1 1-0
130 131 Ga. Southern Sun Belt 14-9 5-6 3-0 4-3 2-0
131 132 Akron MAC 13-9 1-6 2-2 8-1 2-0
132 134 Northern Ill. MAC 12-11 3-6 1-1 6-4 2-0
133 133 Central Mich. MAC 16-6 4-3 2-1 7-2 3-0
134 135 Georgia St. Sun Belt 16-7 5-5 2-1 8-1 1-0
135 137 Boston College ACC 11-10 2-4 2-0 7-6 0-0
136 136 Kent St. MAC 17-5 6-2 0-0 9-3 2-0
137 129 Jacksonville St. OVC 16-8 6-7 2-0 6

I'll grant you that you're a game ahead of us in the conf rankings, but I'm not the one saying anything about being one of the best teams in the country. 01-wingedeagle

You know almost everyone in the basketball world is skeptical of the NET ranking right? Houston is better than UNC? Wofford over Kansas State? Ppl call this ranking BS for a reason. NET ranking completely ignores SoS, while rewarding large margins of victory. Almost seems like blowing out Bible College is more rewarding than edging out Alabama on the road 03-lmfao

While conceding to the fact that "one of the best" is bit of a hyperbole, but I can read between the lines. He was using it to prove a point that our current facility is woefully inadequate compared to our product on the court. Thats all there was to that post. Did you really need to make another jab because of that..? Really...? 07-coffee3
Well real estate jab fell through so ...
