uh, anytime you're in a major cities downtown area you should lock your car and look where you're going...I guess some folks have never 'left the farm' so to speak.

Not sure how they came up with that number. When I live there about 10 years ago we not only left our door unlocked, but many times we left it open if we weren't going too far. Never had a problem with anything. I was also a pizza delivery guy and left my car running many times when dropping off food. I made it 2.5 years and never had my car stolen.
