Agreed. There is the city school aspect which means fair weather alumni and students but as I recall Memphis was drawing dozens under Porter and now averages 40k. Raymond James was also 3/4 empty before Taggart. Not to say that we could average 40k but definitely the biggest component is winning.

yes and no.

folks still purchased tickets but chose not to go as a protest.

I mean, we had games with 20,000 tickets sold and only 6-7,000 people would show up...that got the point across.
