That opens the door to us getting a new arena. All that's been needed is a new precedent to be set after West Georgia ****** it up for everyone else.

Which is exactly why State is going to be on their own. The BoR aren't going to let that dam break when they're already trying to slow State and Southern's growth in athletics.

What's stopping you from getting a new arena? Not enough private funds? BOR rejection of plans?

We had to have 100% funding in-hand before we could even break ground for our FOC and that was only ~$10 mil. Arena is going to push 60-80 mil.

Turner retro-fit is going to be in that 50-100 mil neighborhood.

How much is in hand towards the arena goal?
