He's right though. The campus extension and housing alone is much bigger for them than the football stadium. It's a tremendous thing for their university and will be a big deal to that neighborhood if it's done right.

I've never tried to downplay the importance of them getting the land. I think it's also important they get their own stadium, and have had said so long before they started trashing the Dome themselves. I just think a retrofit is going to be a terrible choice, and I don't think it's going to happen as fast as they hope it will.

Yes it is a good thing but GaSt will at best be fourth in ATL as far as football teams. Falcons, uga, GT then maybe GaSt. Until they have more fans at our game at home then we do then I will put them a solid fourth. It is a good thing for the school but it is not like ATL is all up in arms about it. Congrats but I have heard the hype all before and it has yet to materialize.
