Lots of people with degrees from both schools, guys. I think it's silly for State fans to poke at what they perceive are Tech's shortcomings in the market, and I think it's silly for Tech people to spend so much time and energy trying to denigrate State athletics and academics.

Don't get me wrong. I'm mainly busting panama's balls. I find it is a good recreational sport. :)

But I genuinely believe GA taxpayers and students are better served by State being the liberal arts wing of GT, for all the reasons I listed before and several others. And it is the one way to easily create another entity in the state to neutralize UGAg's domination of the GABOR.

For that to happen, GT would need to lower its entrance standards significantly for enough GaState students to get in, and at that point it would cease to be what it is. I agree with you on the BoR though, but ThUGA's influence has hurt many smaller institutions in the University System much more so than the step child on North Ave.
