Our plan calls for a mixed use development of student housing, single family homes, and retail, and a grocery store. Folks seem to always conveniently forget that part when they bring up GSU and Turner Field on this board. I think certain people on here are hoping we don't get the property.... but luckily these decisions aren't made by people who post to message boards. Get your popcorn, it's going to be an interesting year in regards to GSU & Turner Field.

Ya think, huh? Most of the negativity comes from fans/posters from that school in southeast of you.

People on here read what they want. If a Southern fan shows concern over a major project that could have tax implications on their hometown or home state, how dare they comment. The audacity of those fans for being concerned. Hey, it is the city of Atlanta, what's not to trust. I'm sure the GSU admin are extremely cautious as well, they know what they are dealing with when it comes to Atlanta politics.
