It is by far the best conference in America and if you disagree you are completely delusional. The size, skill, and athleticism at every position is just unreal. They play each other week in and week out and beat up on each other. Oregon, FSU, TCU, Ohio state, Marshall, etc. just cannot compete at the same level.

Yes, every sec team. No doubt Vanderbilt and Kentucky would just stomp us in the mud.

Oh wait, you didn't really mean "every team"? Or did you? There are 5 really good teams in the sec this year, but there are no all time great teams in the conference. They all have deficiencies either on offense, defense, or special teams. Many have big consistency issues. There are no transcendent QBs in the league. The fact that lsu, which has no offense, but a very good defense, is competitive shows their is no dominating team. Any team with a weakness can be beaten.

I said the SEC west, not the east.............................
Marshall will not get any respect this year because of the schedule that they play. Every team on the Herd's schedule are teams that are"buy out games" scheduled by p5 teams. Yes im including UAB and every other conference usa team.

Marshall should have atleast scheduled one big time team in the out of conference schedule to be a legitimate contender.
