I'd kind of think if it's gotten that far, it's a done deal. Most of the time the approval is just a formality.....

I have no idea where we are at this point. We don't know if any bids have been offered. We could still be looking at LU. But if its' NMSU, JMU, and Missouri State, then that would be a very good development for the Belt

The obvious implication is that Idaho would be asked to find a more appropriate home for football when the look in takes place in 2017.

Football would be harmed while all the newbies move up. But once complete, it should be a good loop. But our football will likely take a hit regardless of the newbies taken. The league would make geographic sense and would position the league to take advantage of other opportunities if we get raided again.

Adding those three teams would raise the bar in an area where the league is weak. Men's basketball.

Baseball would be quite strong.
