There are some UMass and Delaware fans who still think they can pull off some new mythical east coast conference by pulling away 7 FBS teams from the AAC, CUSA, and MAC + UMass to form a new conference and then add Delaware. I don't see how they could possibly talk teams like Temple and UConn in leaving the AAC and get bowl ties to pull it off, but they still dream about it. (mostly the Delaware fans and less so the UMass fans). Supposedly on the Delaware board, UMass is talking to Delaware and trying to get UConn, Temple, Buffalo, Old Dominion, Charlotte, etc.. to form a new conference and then get a waiver from the NCAA or something. "when no if" according to them. bizarre.

That conference would also not be included in the CFP contract, access bowls, and revenue share I'd assume as well.

I guess you have to dream up scenarios to keep the fans content I guess.
