"Has Been" by Bill and Ben was one of the strangest, but most weirdly satisfying albums that came out last decade.

It's a beautiful sentiment and Shatner expresses it with such heartfelt pathos. In some ways it is his best performance as an actor.

A song that has no genre. There is a fine line between schmaltz and genius. I call Dr Shatner a genius both for knowing how well to ride that line and cone out Right every time. I mean, cone on: there is only one real captain of the Enterprise. Bill!
