Soundgarden = Chris Cornell vocals + band
RATM = Zack DeLaRocha (sp?) vocals + band
Audioslave = Chris Cornell + RATM Band.

Zack was supposed to come out with an actual rap album but I don't think he ever did. Soundgarden has gotten back together and released a new album either in 2013 or 2012 ( I don't recall). I think Tom Morello (lead guitarist of RATM) is involved in quite a few side projects like Street Sweeper Social Club and The Watchmen.... and he has scored a movie( The Watchmen) I believe. When you listen to RATM though, you would have never thought the "band" could play that style so convincingly well. Cornell's vocals can fit any kind of rock band though.
