Actually, you are not saying something different than I said.

I do not know the undergraduate requirements at EMU for things like the humanities, but humanities are an excellent way to study comparative religions or even a specific religion.

I actually took a religion class as a guest student at MSU many years ago.

I believe there is a real need for well educated people to understand these religions which have billions (3.6B per Wikipedia) of adherents.
