I don't really care if its catholic or protestant, I don't see how that matters.

This is most common is sects that don't allow the men to marry. Perhaps, as you say this particular person was allowed to marry.
The cover up is just as disgusting.

Anglican clergy are allowed to marry - in fact, I'm betting that the vast majority are married - no different than Baptists, Methodists, etc.

This is a case of a pedo that "took a job" that put him around kids (with a fair amount of "trust") and the parents weren't likely to suspect him of doing stuff to their kids.

The Archbishop obviously made a huge error in judgement by not having this guy investigated just like other pedos are - by the police.

Pedos can occupy any job, it's just worse when it happens to be clergy as they know what they are doing is sinful and they have more of a duty than the average Joe.
