That's kind of like arguing that Oscar Roberston never won an NBA championship since he didn't accomplish that feat while with the Royals.

It also depends on how you interpret the final 4 game against Michigan in 92. But after his tenure at UC, Huggins has defeated multiple higher-seeded teams. So when comparing career stats, Cronin falls short on that metric.

I am neither anti Huggins or Cronin. But if we are in a thread about going down memory lane with the Bearcats than the clarification is in order. The 5-2 record is also a little slanted since it includes those horrendous teams that arguably Huggins caused.

Odd...since both of Cronin's wins were in the 2nd 2 meetings in his DI tenure.....you would think steady improvment would have placed those wins towards the end of the series between the 2 teams.

And some would argue that Dr. Zimpher caused those horrendous teams, as Huggins wanted to remain at UC despite the efforts to oust him.
