The 2017 Blazers will have at or near 85 scholarship players (compared to Callaway's 60+) ready for the field against Alabama A&M. BUT, except for JUCO transfers brought in this coming December, the rest of our players will not have played a down against another team's starters in two seasons. How well our own scout team will be able to prep them for those early schedule games remains to be seen.
