That's only 31/59 voting them #2. Obviously a number of people put Missouri/and or/South Carolina ahead of Michigan St.

stupid to say Michigan St will be closer to #2 than #4 is to Michigan St. Well duh. OF course that's the case- the huge gap was aways going to be between 3/4.. 43 vote gap between Auburn and Michigan St is huge though in AP- coaches a lot closer.

AP writers can't think past the last thing they see.
Coaches respect W/L more than the strength of schedule.
