We care because the coaches poll effects the BCS rankings but I am sure you already know that so basically that was a dumb question. For every vote UofL gets ahead of UCF it puts UCF that much further back in the average.

He was pointing that it doesn't matter. The only thing that keeps UCF out of BCS is if they lose twice and then it wouldn't matter what the polls say. So the BCS poll is irrelevant for UCF

Wrong, its VERY relevant, if this was next year UCF wouldn't get the bid, Fresno then NIU then UCF. So moving up in the polls this year is VERY important. The higher we get before EOY the better our ranking will be should we win the whole gambit. We need a really high ranking by EOY for the start of next year.

So very true...but since we don't play the game it's just fun to talk about the what if's. This is new for UCF fans. I'm sure the players are focused on one game at a time. We'll see.
