You had control of the entire game, but an 8 point win is far from dominating against an offensively offensive UCONN squad.
UC continues to be the team that just wins games in this conference. They don't do it by overwhelming anybody, they just grind out that W. I don't think anybody has seen Cincy display that "second level" of execution that's required to advance in the Dance. Maybe they're keeping it a secret.
Nothing wrong with winning games though regardless of how unspectacular they may be. A W, is a W, is a W...

If grinding out means a twenty point win then you are right.
Naw. I was meaning getting down 20 to Houston then grinding back, or winning at Temple via bottle chuck, playing even with ECU for over half a game, or trading baskets with an ailing UConn. You know... grinding them out. Not looking pretty or dominant in games you would expect a top 10 team to look dominant in.
But a W, is a W, is a W... at least in conference play. Grinding gets you nowhere in the Dance though... you're gonna have to be able to score; you're gonna need size and athleticism. You know... the things that Wichita State has (had) back when the preseason consensus was that they would reach the Final Four this year.
Congrats on the W's!

We will just keep winning and you will just keep pissing into the wind with your inane posts.

What an inane post. The Houston game ended up as a 10 point win. You mention the close road win against Temple, but fail to mention the 20-30 point home win over Temple, the team that beat you. The Ecu game was a 26 point win. The UConn game was never in doubt for one second.
If you want to talk about athletic teams, look no farther than the "grind it out" Bearcats. Your team appears to be weak and cannot handle the grind of a conference schedule.

I’m really tired of explaining everything to you. Get a tutor.
