Another in the long ling of kids who wasted a year believing falsehoods from a big program rather than going to a situation where you can flourish.
I'm all for UC being the backup plan for Ohio kids. This doesn't bother me at all. A UC team full of kids who were second stringers at OSU/Penn St/Michigan can win the AAC every year.
I don't think this is true and unfairly impugns some of our conference members. Houston, UCF and Louisville each as AAC champion defeated Florida State, Baylor and Florida, respectively, so winning the conference championship in the AAC is not as easy as you are characterizing it to be. Temple won the championship last year and that was a very good and underrated team.
True. I would add that we have had a number of kids transfer here from schools like OSU and elsewhere who did not excel here. The latest example is Grant Schmidt (OSU) who could not crack the two deep here this off season and Torrance Gibson who couldn't make the grades and is playing JUCO. Even Kyle Trout (OSU) looks to be playing second string behind the guys who were already here.
People who have been around for a while will remember the name Freddie Lennix.

Does Penn State have any O-linemen that want to transfer here?

Quite true and on point
Simple as this: If we wish to persist to b!tch about our conference, let's win the damn thing for a change. In EITHER sport.

As much as I hate being in this conference and love to blame it for all our problems, I have to admit you're right. If we're so much better, it's time we showed it on the field and the court.

RE: UC adds Penn State transfer TJ Johnson, Cornerback
actually, I've grown to kind of like the AAC.
We are stuck here for now, so might as well make best of it. Football wise, it's been pretty decent (and that's with no thanks to us).
