Don't like them? Easy. Don't watch them.
However, as day follows night, tolerant, open-minded liberals will be out picketing.
Normalizing a school where 80 percent of the worlds population is categorically excluded from the benefits of FBS participation is problematic.
I'm much less opposed to LU moving up if my teams never play them. At least I'll never have to be subjected to LU problems to watch my team.
False.
Now that this is in the Spin Room, I must ask this....what is LU's restroom policy for visiting fans? Are there Transgendered restrooms available at LU's stadium? If its one family restroom in a stadium with 20,000 fans, will a Trans person have to wait longer to access the restroom than a cisgendered person while attending his or her team's games at LU? Don't think the LGBT groups at potential opponents won't bring this up.
Is there a dress code for visiting fans? Any ban on rainbow colored shirts by a LGBT fan group attending a road game at LU?
---
80 percent of the worlds population isn't straight/evangelical Christian. If you aren't a straight evangelical, you cannot be employed at LU. Even the Jewish studies department appears to be comprised of evangelicals. Please point out the LU employees that are married Gays or that are not Christian, if you'd like to rebut my assertion. I have read your faculty rules. I will note that one Gay male was hired as a contractor once in a temporary position to handle choreography for a theater production. But he was not a LU employee. Doesn't count.

Sometimes people have to wait longer. I find it telling you don't give a shaq about the people there with families who may need to wait longer for a restroom. Shows that your desire for "equality" is nothing of the sort.

Actually the solution is to make all LU restrooms at athletic events open to people based upon their birth, tranistioned to, or presenting gender identity. That way there'd be no special barrier for Trans fans watching their team play at LU.
Failing that, they can have lots of family restrooms (and port a potties aren't a solution, unless all have to use them) in the stadium, or ban non-Trans persons from the Family restroom during games.

Some people are neither men nor women, yes? What about the non-binary people?

Just trying to figure out the practicalities for Trans people who wish to attend away games in support of their teams at LU.

You just suggested people be allowed to use whatever gender restroom they chose. If that is the case then why have gender specific anything. No more all girl dorms on campus, no more fraternity/sororities by gender, nothing.
That is the end result of your logic. Now own it

Where have you been? That is exactly what the left has been pushing for several years. The bright side is if youre female and you see a slow moving line you start feeling manly, the men's line moves faster. But only half the stalls will work for you and those usually have pee all over the seat.

Let's see... Typically you get 1-2,000 people traveling to away games. So arrangements will be needed for *6* people per game.

Again, any school scheduling an away game at LU will be asked....why did you schedule a game at a school where the LGBT community will be abused or discriminated against?
So yes, they'll have to come up with a plan that is fair and acceptable tot he LGBT community (not what some group that disparages Trans persons or Gays thinks is 'good enough for those deviants'). Or not, and watch the GLBT groups and allies amongst their fans, alumni, students, faculty, and staff, many of whom have other axes to grind against LU question their AD for scheduling the game. Ask BYU how well their Big XII bid went when all the LGBT groups at Big XII member institutions got involved.
Either way, I'm genuinely interested to see if LU comes up with a plan, and if so, how inclusive it really will be.
And, failing an acceptable (to us) plan at LU, I'm also interested to see which AD is going to insult their LGBT students, fans, alumni, staff, athletes, and faculty by subjecting them to discriminatory barriers to support their team. Someone is going to schedule a game. And then they're going to hear a mouthful from their stakeholders.

LGB are banned from employment at LU. And its unclear if there's a special dress code for LGBT persons (e.g., no rainbow logos, no proud to be LGBT, no Rainbow Belt shirts, etc.). We will see who bites first on the 'lets send our fans to Lynchburg' and then we will see what accommodations LU puts in place.

And if and when LU plays your school, which we know you hope never happens, you'll be the firs to decry the unfortunate decision to have your team associated with them, and you'll also be the first to watch because your extreme dislike for the school will equate to not wanting to loose to them at any cost. In life, when one puts much of their attention to what they DON'T want, they usually create it happening. Careful for what you wish or lust for.

This sound like a personal issue for you. If so, it seems many here respect the strong opinion you are expressing. Maybe a better way to approach this is to make request of what you would desire. LU is very responsive and can act quickly when presented with a reasonable request. I know many of the staff and they act diligently and respectful.
Most all of your posts bash LU every conceivable time so we can assume these issues you so strongly mention are personal to you. So is you point to have transgender bathrooms for visiting fans and or all people in attendance?

Yea I think they might have trouble scheduling home games.
They also probably have no sense of FBS football history, since they figure football is only 5 years old.
